BROWNTEARS was born in South Central Los Angeles in late 2019. Inspired by the struggles, fears, and resilience of immigrant families like mine.

Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the challenges of being a minority in this country. At one point, I hated my brown skin—until I realized it was a blessing, a symbol of strength and heritage. This brand is my way of embracing that identity and creating something bigger than myself—a movement for our people, our culture, and our future. BROWNTEARS is more than clothing.
